Rooms & Accommodation

Our beautiful well-furnished Nursing Home can accommodate upto 36 residents. Most of the rooms are singles and are all on the ground floor. Couples may reserve a double room if they so prefer. The grounds of the nursing home are accessible from the majority of the single rooms as well.

Many bedrooms have open views of the garden and beyond, and more than half have en-suite bathrooms. Smoke detectors, television outlets, and provisions for personal telephones are also available. Each bedroom, en-suite bathroom, main bathroom, and all social lounges have a "Nurse Call" system.

Dining Experience

Drinking and eating together is a social activity that can lift spirits and evoke happy memories of family gatherings for holidays or special occasions.

At Meadow View, we work to make each resident's dining experience more enjoyable and social by encouraging carers to converse with one another while interacting with residents.

The skilled cook at Meadow View takes pride in preparing delicious meals that are also nutritional and well-balanced. Any dietary restrictions are accommodated. Residents are encouraged to use the dining room but are free to eat in their rooms if they like. For lunch or tea and coffee, visitors are welcome to join us.

Beautiful Garden

Our residents have access to more than 4.5 acres of land at Meadow View. Our gardens are wonderfully designed with a wide variety of flowers and plants. We routinely organise programmes that make use of our beautiful gardens in order to promote the healthy and active lifestyles of our residents. Our residents are able to securely roam the grounds since staff members are there to assist them and keep them company. Therefore, our lovely gardens provide the ideal backdrop for everything, whether it be a stroll around the gardens, a family event, or just a seat outside to enjoy the sun.

Activities

We give importance to social activities, and residents are encouraged to participate. A full programme of activities is carried out within the home, tailored to the residents' wishes. We have a full-time activities coordinator who compiles a weekly programme of events.

These include:

  • Games
  • Musical movement
  • Trips
  • In-house musical entertainment

We organise outings and visits to the place of interest to make our residents happy. Every year in the summer, a fete is held on the grounds. Individual needs can be catered for on a more one-to-one basis. Regular church services take place within the home held by the local minister.
